Back Garden & Co. was born from a love of nature, texture, and the beautifully unusual. What began as a quiet curiosity in the back garden has grown into a creative space where the natural and the macabre coexist in harmony.

Each skein of yarn we create begins with the fleece from Irish alpacas and sheep, spun by hand - full of character, and entirely one of a kind. Alongside these, we give new life to recycled offcuts from local designers, transforming what might have been discarded into soft, shimmering art yarns.

Drawing on a background in floristry and a lifelong fascination with the darker side of the natural world, I’ve brought together these passions to create not just yarns, but art pieces and wall hangings that tell their own quiet stories. Dried flowers, ethically sourced animal bones, and natural fibres come together in delicate balance, a celebration of life, decay, and renewal.

Back Garden & Co. is a reflection of my hands, my garden, and my heart. A place where nature’s raw materials are honoured, reimagined, and made to live again in new and meaningful ways.
